Adults only. Do not use if you can't breathe easily through your nose, or if you have sleep apnea or a breathing or heart condition.
- Try it while awake first: with the tape on, breathe through your nose for a few minutes. If that is uncomfortable, do not use it overnight.
- Make sure you can remove it quickly and easily yourself.
Do not use if
- You cannot breathe comfortably through your nose, for example because of a cold, allergies, congestion or a blocked or deviated septum.
- You have, or may have, sleep apnea or another sleep-related breathing disorder. Snoring with gasping, choking or pauses in breathing should be checked by a doctor.
- You have asthma, COPD or another breathing or lung condition, or a heart condition, unless your doctor has said it is suitable for you.
- You have drunk alcohol or taken sleeping pills, sedatives or other medicines that make you drowsy.
- You feel sick, might vomit, or have reflux that could cause you to vomit in your sleep.
- You are pregnant. Talk to your doctor first.
- The skin on or around your lips is broken, chapped or irritated.
- Never use mouth tape on children.
Remove the tape and stop if
- You feel short of breath, anxious or uncomfortable.
- Your skin becomes red, itchy or sore.
